Don and I dined with Dorte and Michael in Rungsted on December 22. It was a wonderful experience! They picked us up at the train station and served us a Danish Christmas dinner. The house was lovely and they had put their Christmas tree up early just for us. And later in the evening they lit the tree! They were both wonderful hosts. Very easy to talk with and extremely interesting people. They were just as excited as we were about the Dine with the Danes program. Thank you so much for arranging this dinner for us. It was very memorable.

This was the highlight of our all-too-brief trip to Copenhagen. Jens and Trine utterly spoiled us with a gourmet menu and fine wines. We are very into food (we spent most of our visit in various food shops around Copenhagen) and we could not have been matched better. Jens runs one of the best restaurants in the city! We felt like we won a lottery. Plus, the apartment was gorgeous. Our two hosts were terrific conversationalists. I must say that they are exactly the type of people we would be friends with, and we hope to continue to stay in touch with them. I think that Dine With The Danes is one of the most unique and special experiences available!
